A third-generation leader in the family demolition and scrap business, David brings more than four decades of executive experience to BERG Brownfields. Over a 40-year career, he guided the growth of The Berg Corporation from a local subcontractor into a nationally recognized platform in demolition and environmental remediation.
In the late 2000s, David expanded his focus into real estate development, applying a disciplined, numbers-driven approach to identify opportunities with outsized risk-adjusted returns—often in complex or environmentally challenged assets overlooked by traditional developers.
David holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Maryland and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Maryland.

An engineer by training, Aron brings more than a decade of hands-on construction, demolition, and redevelopment experience to BERG Brownfields. He spent eight years working in construction in Chicago before joining The Berg Corporation as a Project Executive in 2019, where he led complex projects prior to co-founding

He spent eight years working in construction in Chicago before joining The Berg Corporation as a Project Executive in 2019, where he led complex projects prior to co-founding BERG Brownfields.
Aron’s technical background directly informs his ability to evaluate environmental liabilities, regulatory risk, and the redevelopment potential of complex brownfield and industrial assets.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kansas and an MBA from DePaul University. Aron is a licensed Professional Engineer in Maryland, Illinois, and Florida, and serves on the National Demolition Association’s Government Affairs Committee.

A fourth-generation demolition professional, Austin brings a deep-rooted work ethic and hands-on field experience to BERG Brownfields. Raised in the family demolition business, he developed an early understanding of what it takes to execute complex, physically demanding projects—an approach grounded in accountability, safety, and results.
Before returning to The Berg Corporation in 2019, Austin worked in Denver as a commercial real estate investment sales broker, providing him with a strong foundation in deal execution and market analysis. He later co-founded Hawkins Management, LLC, where he focuses on project management and operational oversight across BERG Brownfields’ portfolio.
Austin holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Colorado and is an active member of the National Demolition Association’s Safety Committee.
